VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Valdosta's mayor and council were ready Tuesday to start accomplishing their 2015 goals for the city.
One of the top goals is continuing doing wastewater related projects and making sure they're completed on time.
They also want to reestablish a committee to decide what to do with Mathis City Auditorium and work with the county to discuss common issues and concerns.
The city set these goals at their annual retreat the weekend of January 9th-11th. "I think it means that we're conscious, we're lookin' into the future and tryin' to plan for the growth of Valdosta," said Valdosta mayor John Gayle. "We're tryin' to plan for the needs of Valdosta as we grow."
