CRISP CO., GA (WALB) - A Crisp County deputy arrested a man who had a pistol in one hand, and was trying to get something from a locked cooler with the other.
Sheriff Billy Hancock said that on Saturday, Deputy George Camp was working security at Lake Blackshear Resort, when employees said a man was in the kitchen, trying to get into the cooler.
Camp told 24 year old Charles Mills of Manor, Georgia to drop the gun, which he did, and then he was taken into custody without further incident.
Mills was jailed, charged with Burglary, Possession of a firearm during commission of a felony and Possession of a firearm at a public place. He is still in jail.
