LENOX, GA (WALB) -  A wreck on the Interstate 75 near the Cook-Tift County line near Lenox, and mile marker 50 happened Monday morning after a police pursuit.

The Georgia State Patrol says 47-year-old Sabrina High of Ashburn has been taken to a hospital in Adel, after a trooper used a pit maneuver to stop her car on I-75 north of Lenox.

Troopers say High refused to stop for Tift County Sheriff's Deputies, and the pursuit continued into Cook County. Speeds during the chase were not excessive.

Tift County deputies were trying to stop High after her family had called the Turner County Sheriff's Office concerned for her welfare, and said she was in need of some medical attention.

Charges are pending in this case.
