The Frontier Festival at Chehaw Park wraps up today.
Visitors got a three day experience of how things really were in the eighteenth and nineteenth century. Demonstrations included cooking, blacksmithing, weaving and bow making. Festival officials hope visitors learned something they didn't know before.
"It's something that you need that can get them out of the house, get them outdoors, enjoy the fresh air and really have a unique experience at this event that's historical, and if they're not real careful they might learn a little history that they didn't learn in school," said Ben Kirkland, Natural Resources Manager.
There were more than 40 demonstrators this weekend for the 21st annual Frontier Festival.
