ALBANY, GA (WALB) - On Friday, a Florida murder suspect, arrested in Albany Thursday, signed a waiver of extradition, agreeing to being sent back to that state.
21-year-old Dayomonte McIntosh signed the waiver in front of a judge at the Dougherty County Jail.
McIntosh is charged with gunning down Antonio Jones in Ocala, Florida last Monday.
Investigators say he was hiding out with a relative in Albany.
The U.S. Marshal's Southeast Regional Task Force captured him Thursday afternoon at an apartment at 1308 Hobson Drive.
He is being held in a higher level security cell at the Dougherty County Jail.
Florida officials are expected to pick him up within ten days.
