Lots of people are hitting the gym today to begin their New Year's Resolutions.
Several people say their hoping to shed some pounds, get in shape and maintain a routine workout regime this year. 14-year-old Tyriq Wilcox says his goal is to become more health conscience as he trains for football next year. He's focusing on his upper body and legs.
"It'll help me throw the ball farther because I'm trying to be quarterback next year and it'll help me run faster," said Tyriq Wilcox.
Fitness experts says it's best for you to work out with a buddy to keep you motivated and make the workout more enjoyable.
