THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Two suspects robbed a Thomasville convenience store at gun point, and it was all caught on camera.

Police are still searching for the men involved.

L&G Foot Mart employee Sunil Patel said he has worked as a convenience store clerk for over 10 years, but he has never experienced a night like this.

Patel said two armed men, dressed in all black, robbed the L&G Food Mart on Madison street Monday night.

Surveillance video showed one suspect pointing a black revolver in Patel's face.

Patel said, “They said like, 'No, no.  Get up, get up! Hurry up! Give me some money! Give me, hurry up. Open the register!' So I just opened it and gave it to him and I put my hands up.”

Police said they're not sure how much money the suspects actually took, but Patel said it was a whole day's worth of business.

Patel said once he saw the gun, he didn't put up a fight.

He complied with the suspects in fear of his life.

Major Eric Hampton with the Thomasville Police Department said, “We urge and we recommend that any time someone is presenting with a weapon and threatening to give money to them, we recommend that you hand the money over.”

Major Hampton said the surveillance video showed the two suspects completely covered, but he said input from the community could help solve this crime.

“We're hoping that someone might have seen something, or that someone may recognize them leaving the store. Or maybe recognize them from some of their features on the video,” said Major Hampton.

If you have any information about these suspects, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 229-227-3305.
