LEESBURG, GA (WALB) - Judge Jim Thurman set a $100,000 bond Tuesday for 36-year-old Michael McDonald, who's facing numerous drug possession charges.
McDonald was arrested at his Lee County home Monday night, after investigators conducted a search warrant and found cocaine, oxycodone, and piles of testosterone.
Lee County Sheriff Reggie Rachals credits their narcotics team for investigating tips that led them to McDonald.
"That was a good pop, and that's what we try to do, make good arrests and get that stuff off the street so it don't get in the wrong hands," said Sheriff Rachals.
McDonald is charged with possession of Cocaine, Oxycodone, and Testosterone with intent to distribute.
If he makes bond, his 4th Amendment rights are waived, which means he can be searched at any time, without a search warrant.
