ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Dougherty County Police have confirmed that the man charged in connection with an armed robbery at a CVS Pharmacy in Lee County is also connected to a robbery at a convenience store on Christmas Day.
Eric Kyle Newell, 26, is charged with terroristic threats and criminal attempted robbery by intimidation.
According to a report, investigators said Newell was the suspect in an attempted robbery at a Kangaroo convenience store on Mock Road.
The charges come after Newell was arrested by Lee County deputies on Saturday morning at a home on White Pond Road.
Deputies said he was wearing the same clothes he had on during the CVS Pharmacy armed robbery.
Newell also had active warrants for failure to appear in a shoplifting case.
