LEE CO., GA (WALB) - Some Lee Countians woke up to find their backyards underwater on Christmas Eve.
David Cox said when he got home from work, his yard was flooded. He says they plan to keep an eye on it and don't expect it to get in their home.
Several other backyards along Pelham Road flooded.
Cox says he's surprised by the severity of the Christmas Eve storm. "I'm not originally from around here. I'm from North Georgia and this is about the craziest weather I have ever seen," he said.
This storage shed flooded in this back yard.
The homeowner tells us his kids' Christmas presents were inside.
