Free wrapping for small donation at Albany Mall

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Dougherty County Family Literacy Connection is wrapping for free with a small donation at the Albany Mall.

The money goes towards their Child Development Center.

This is something they do every year and is one of their biggest fundraisers.

The organization said they enjoy meeting people from all over South Georgia while wrapping their gifts.

“I like the people when they are hiding the gift from the husband and wives. If they are there together, they'll say don't let them see this and it's just fun to see how excited they are trying to surprise their spouses,” said Evelyn Cookley, Child Development Program.

Your gift must be purchased in the Albany Mall in order to get your present wrapped.

The Literacy connection will be in the wrapping gift in front of Belks until 5:30 p.m. Christmas Eve.
