Two shootings in different towns may be connected

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Two wounded men who asked for help in Dawson late last night may have been shot during a home invasion in Albany.

49-year old James Jones was shot at a home in the 600 block of North Washington Street just before 11:00 Sunday night.

Jones is listed in good condition at an Albany hospital Monday afternoon.

58-year old Johnson Price was also in the home and said someone burst in with guns.

About  30 minutes after that shooting, two men with gunshot wounds pulled up to the McDonalds in Dawson asking for directions to a hospital.

One of those men was shot in the chest and the other had a gunshot wound in the arm.

Dawson Police and the GBI believe the two were shot during that home invasion on North Washington.

Albany Police will only say the case is under investigation.
