Albany Christmas decorations stolen for second time in a week

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -   An Albany man says he will not let the theft of the bulbs from his Christmas  decorations twice in the last week ruin his Christmas spirit.

Johnny Thomas said he discovered dozens of the bulbs from his Christmas lights on a tree in the yard of West Whitney home missing Sunday morning.   He had already replaced those bulbs, which had been stolen Wednesday.

Thomas reported the thefts to police,  and said he would not let the thieves stop his celebration of Christmas.

Thomas said "Stop and said well, I'll just take all of it down and forget about it.  But no, still got the drive for Christmas.  So in other words I'm going to go out here today and buy some more."

Thomas estimates it will cost him about $50  to replace the bulbs in his decorations again.  He said he will keep a closer watch on them until Christmas.
