The Flint RiverQuarium planned some holiday activities for kids today.
They held their "Merry Fishmas Discovery Days” program. Kids made reindeers and bird feeders using pine cones and peanut butter. They also got a chance to see divers at the Blue Hole.
"Most of them actually enjoy the different crafts that they do on a monthly basis,” said Claudia Durham, Gift Shop Manager. “If they come every month they get a little passport that gets signed and after four visits they're actually entitled to get a free shirt from the gift store. So that's something to motivate them to keep coming back."
Discovery Days is held at the Flint RiverQuarium twice a month.
