DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) - A former employee at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas turns herself into authorities.
According to a press release from the Douglas Coffee County Drug Unit, Christina Lynn Hardy turned herself in on Thursday.
Hardy was arrested on five counts of fraudulently obtaining controlled substances.
Detectives say they discovered Hardy, a former emergency room nurse had been taking vials of morphine, Valium, and other medications. She is also accused of taking syringes.
Her position at C.R.M.C has been terminated, according to the press release.
