ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
An Albany church is spreading Christmas cheer throughout the city.
Thursday morning members of Hines Memorial CME Church sang carols and passed out Christmas gifts to Slater H. King ADH Center.
The church say they visit every year to bring joy to the people of the facility during this giving time of year. "This is one way of our giving and show them that we love and care for them as Jesus did for us," said Mary Wright, Hines Memorial Women's Missionary President .
The group also made some Christmas crafts together. Church members say the center is a partner in caring and sharing for them.
They also hold several other events for the adults at the center throughout the year.
