They were brought to the Valdosta Police department for questioning before being transported to the Lowndes County Jail. Detectives recovered a BB gun which is believed to have been used in at least one of the armed robberies.

On December 14, 2014 at approximately 8:30 pm, the Valdosta Police Department responded to the Commons Apartment Complex, 1415 N. The driver, Austin Prease, said that he was making a delivery to the apartment complex and as he drove up, he was approached by a white man who pulled out a handgun and stole the food that he was delivering and $25 in cash.

The bandit ran away and no one was injured during the incident.

On December 9, 2014 at approximately 9:50 pm, the Valdosta Police Department responded to the 700 block of Wilson Avenue in reference to the report of the robbery of a Papa John's delivery driver.  Kyle Deegan indicated that as he arrived at the house, he was approached by a white male who pulled a handgun and stole the food that he was delivering and his wallet, which contained $30 in cash.

The offender ran away and no one was injured during the incident.

The Spargos were also charged with Felony Shoplifting for a December 15th theft from the Walmart on Inner Perimeter Road.
