Valdosta car lot gets stolen car back, teen arrested

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Quick police work helped a Valdosta car dealership get back a stolen vehicle.

17 year-old Brandon Delk was in the Lowndes County Jail as of Wednesday charged with stealing a Nissan Maxima from Freedom Auto Plaza.

Stacey Wilson, the regional manager at Freedom Auto Plaza, said Belk test drove the car over the weekend and never came back. He was arrested Tuesday night at a motel on Ashley Street where investigators found the stolen car.

"These guys was quick on reaction. We got our vehicle back. We was happy when we got it back. We tested everything out, everything's good. We can put it back on the lot for sale," Wilson said.

Belk is also charged with breaking into an apartment on Marion Street in Valdosta December 9th and stealing around $110.
