Dougherty County family's Christmas presents stolen

DOUGHERTY CO., GA (WALB) -  A Dougherty County family's Christmas presents are all gone after their home was burglarized, and they say they won't be able to replace them.

Nicole Morris says the more than $4000 worth of presents for her four sons and family were under her Christmas tree when they went to church Sunday, but were gone when they returned home.

Morris said Christmas is special to her, and she had been shopping since October for the gifts. She says they can't be replaced.  "Definitely not to that magnitude because that took me nothing to acquire," said Morris.  "But I guess now we'll deal with the real meaning of Christmas, which is obviously not a present."

Dougherty County Police are investigating but so far no arrests have been made.
