BACONTON, GA (WALB) - At least One in 5 children go without meals every day.

Arby's Foundation is working to help stop hunger in communities across america.

The Arby's Food truck travels to communities around the country to help feed children and bring awareness to their programs.

The truck was out in Baconton today as part of a prize package for a 9th grader.

The Foundation Partners with No Kid Goes Hungry and Share Our Strength.

Most schools have a meal program but during the summer months many children will go without a meal.

Caris Mark is the driver and the community events coordinator. He says "Our goal and our focus is to end childhood hunger inside of the united states. you know and we know it's a huge task to try and champion and conquer but its something we are devoted to as the foundation and Arby's as a brand

There are feeding sites all over the country that give free breakfast and lunch and sometimes dinners.
