MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - There is an update on a story we reported in July. Criminal charges were dropped against two Moultrie women charged with leaving a child in a hot car.
Reckless conduct charges against Carmen Pecina and Sheila Clements were dismissed in Colquitt County State Court Tuesday.
In July Moultrie Police charged the women left Pecina's three year old grand daughter in a car outside the Colquitt Regional Medical Center, after a nurse noticed the child in the car. The three year old was not harmed.
Prosecutors with the District Attorney's Office say the women did not know the child was in the car, and there was no criminal intent.
