Moultrie police make three arrests in a residential burglary.

Police say 18-year-old Ta'marcus Thornton, A 14-year old boy, and a 16-year-old boy broke into a home on West Boulevard last Wednesday before 11:00 a.m. A neighbor saw the boys leaving the home and called the homeowner at work. Police say the boys took off with the stolen items near a bike trail.

"We searched the area where the individual came out from under the bridge, we found a bag containing candy, electronics, laptop computers, a liquor bottle, which were all items that were stolen from the resident,” said Inv. David Jones.

Police recovered most of the stolen items. All three suspects are charged with 1st degree burglary. Thornton is out on $10,000 bond.

The 14-year old remains in the Crisp County RYDC. The 16-year-old was released from that center.
