Program helps college students earn degrees

Albany State University and Darton State College are teaming up to help students get ahead.

The reverse transfer program allows Albany State students to use credits there to earn an associate's degree at Darton College if they previously attended Darton.

Institutions across the state are participating in this program to help attract and retain more students.

"Benefit students, benefit our community and benefit everybody as well," said Natalie Knox, the Reverse Transfer Coordinator. So think that this is a win-win situation for all that are involved. And there is no cost to the students who participate in this."

This program is part of the "Complete College Georgia" initiative launched by Governor Nathan Deal.
