ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Two Albany teens are being held without bond after their arrest for burglary, because of their criminal history.

Police say they caught 18-year-olds Maceo Hayes and Sean Wooden red-handed inside a home they broke into on Buck Lane Wednesday.

Hayes pleaded guilty to burglary in August. Wooden has charges pending against him for entering auto.

Superior Court Judge Willie Lockette says repeat offenders are a huge problem in Albany.

"There are advanced sanctions for repeat offenders, and as far as teh victims are concerned, the courts and the law try very hard to make sure that victims are fully compensated," said Judge Lockette.

Once Hayes and Wooden are provided with lawyers, they can apply for bond.
