SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) - A man arrested for driving on a suspended license now faces forgery charges after police found checks from several different states in his car.
Philip Harris, 22, was originally charged with speeding when Sylvester Police officers made a traffic stop.
After an investigation, police also charged Harris with forgery.
Authorities found a number of commercial and personal checks from several states including Montana, Michigan, Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, and the Atlanta, Georgia.
Police took Harris to the Worth County Jail after he was initially booked in the Turner County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
