Police: Burglars caught breaking into apartment

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Police are warning residents to report suspicious activity after officers arrested two people in the process of breaking into an apartment.

It happened just before noon Wednesday at a home on Buck Lane.

Police said two teens were arrested after they were found trying to kick in the back door of the apartment. A concerned citizen saw the two and called authorities, who arrived and arrested the teens.

Maceo Kenya Hayes, 18, and Sean Breavor Wooden, 18, were charged with two felony counts of obstruction and burglary.

The two were found inside the home by officers.

Police recovered a Playstation 3 and one game.

Anyone who sees suspicious activity is urged to call 229-431-2132 and report it.
