What started as a traffic stop led to the arrest of three people for drug trafficking.
A Crisp County deputy stopped a 2013 Infiniti for speeding on GA Hwy. 401 on Tuesday.
According to a report, the deputy received conflicting stories from the passengers of the car, and conducted a search, where he found approximately 10 ounces of heroin, with a street value of about $55,000.
The driver, 64-year-old Sheri Davis, along with 60-year-old Michael Hartsfield and 52-year-old Joe Williams were charged with trafficking heroin.
Davis was also charged with driving on a suspended license.
