COLQUITT CO., GA (WALB) - There's new details in the investigation of a Colquitt County race track.
The Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner's Office cited Needmore Speedway for not having at least two certified firefighters on duty during race on November 16th.
Driver Tristan Sealy was injured when his car crashed and burst into flames.
Also, a message posted on the Speedway's website says the 2014 season is over. Races scheduled for December 12th through 14th have been canceled and the track has been turned over to the landowner.
We were not able to reach the owner or track director to find out why.
The state fire investigators said their investigation did not result in the closure of the track.
