ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  An Albany man is in jail, accused of taking part in a gun battle that sprayed South Albany cars and homes with bullets.

Police charged Keith Shealy with aggravated assault and reckless conduct after he admitted firing shots at people in a car who were shooting at him outside the Elks Lodge on South Jefferson Street around one a.m. Sunday.

Bullets went through the walls of a house across the street where the owners were asleep, but no one was hit.

Shooting victim Tony Gray said "You can't run from crime, it'll find you. I guess you sit home and mind your owner business.  Trying to sleep in your own bed, you don't know what's going to happen."

Gray's business was burglarized Sunday night, but he says he thinks this shooting was completely random, and not connected.

Police are now looking for a Silver Tahoe involved in the shooting.
