ALBANY, GA (WALB) - WALB is partnering with Phoebe Putney to raise money for Children's Miracle Network for the National Day of Giving.
Phoebe Putney is the only Children's Miracle Network hospital serving the 19 county area. More than 10 million children visit a CMN hospital every year and Phoebe treats more than 7,200 children annually. Every child treated at Phoebe is touched by CMN.
"Every child that comes in our door, whether it's a broken bone from a bicycle accident, or an asthma attack, or a car accident, or a premature birth or sickness. All those kids are touched by CMN, it doesn't have to just be premature babies or sick hospitalized children, it can be an ER visit," said CMN Coordinator Amanda Biery.
All of the money raised Tuesday will stay in Southwest Georgia, helping children in our area. You can donate by calling the Phoebe Foundation at 229-312-4483.
- December 6, 2014 – as an annual event to benefit Children's Miracle Network.
