ATHENS, GA (WALB) -

An Albany man who won tickets to the Georgia- Georgia Tech game and is legally blind makes his first steps onto Sanford Stadium.

Ervin Fulton was recognized at the game on Saturday. He's seen waving to fans as he stands on the field with his family. Fulton was worried about how he was going to get to the game until viewers saw his story on WALB, and someone offered him a ride. Fulton says he is thankful for the support.

"I never been to Sanford Stadium and it's a lifelong dream of mind to be here,” said Ervin Fulton. “I'll never forget this as long as I live. Things have been great. I'd like to say hello to everybody in Southwest Georgia, especially Albany and Sylvester. I hope I did each and every one of you proud."

Fulton won four tickets to the game because of his community service work with Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.
