ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A fraternity rings bells to raise money for an organization that helps those in need.
Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated stood outside the Albany Mall today ringing bells to raise money for the Salvation Army.
Their hoping to raise more than $500 so the organization can purchase meals and toys for families in need for Christmas.
"The men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity is a part of giving back, mentoring and helping young people and the elderly and whoever needs help as far as trying to get something started to do some right things for the people," Jesse Massey, Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
This is their 13th year raising money for the Salvation Army. They'll be back at the Albany Mall to raise more money on December 13th.
