South Georgia's Black Friday busy, but not crazy

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

It's the day after Thanksgiving. Malls and shopping centers are filled with people looking for the incredible deals many retailers are offering.

South Georgia shoppers are saying the crowds to them are not as big as Fridays in the past.

Others said they wait until Black Friday so they can come out and take advantage of the deals and to spend time with their families.

Several retailers said the crowds have been steady, but they aren't as big compared to Thanksgiving Day.

Workers at the Albany Mall have been working tirelessly at the since opening at 6 p.m. Thursday.

They will continue until the mall closes at 10 p.m. Friday.
