ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Many travelers are saying low gas prices are making it easier for them to travel this holiday season.
Travelers around Albany Thursday were filling up at the pump for a little more than $2.50. The lowest price can be found at the Enmark on Slappey Boulevard for $2.39.
One family says the low gas prices allows them to keep more money in their pockets.
"Yes it has, we were going to go either way, but with the gas prices it helps," said traveler Ally Jackson.
Albany's gas prices are lower than the state's average at $2.70. The current national average is $2.80.
