Miss Flint River's Outstanding teen and Mill Albany Outstanding Teen are preparing for the State Pageant in June.

Meanwhile, Miss Albany is preparing for the Miss Georgia pageant.

The girls will be working on their interview and speech skills along with their talent. They are also making sure they are physically fit for the contest and rigorous schedule of a beauty queen.

In the pageant, Miss Georgia Outstanding Teen contestants choose a platform to bring awareness to.

"My platform is Children's Miracle Network," said Miss Albany Outstanding Teen Madison Barbar. "I actually had a very good friend that had twins born in the Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit and I got to see how the NICU helped them.

"My platform is heart to heart a voice for the voiceless I want to help people decide whether they want to keep the child or put it up for adoption plan it's important to me because I was adopted," said Miss Flint Rivers Outstanding Teen Marah Collins.

Miss Georgia the Princess program and Miss Georgia Outstanding Teen pageants will be held June 18-21, 2015 at the Rivercenter Performing Arts in Columbus.
