THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Thomasville Police are looking for suspects involved in a string of church burglaries on the south side of town.

Police said they've had six burglaries reported in the past week.

Crooks stole televisions, musical equipment, and offering plates.

Police said the burglars are kicking through back doors and windows to break in.

Major Wade Glover with the Thomasville Police Department said, “We want to make sure our citizens are alert to what's going on.  Nobody thinks somebody would break into a church, but you know, the holidays are amongst us and there are a lot of thieves out there.  And nobody is immune.”

If you have any information regarding these crimes, you are asked to call the Thomasville Police Department at 229-227-3249.
