Turner Co. gets Op Center grant

ASHBURN, GA (WALB) - Homeland Security and GEMA are providing a grant has been awarded to the  Turner County Emergency Management Agency

of almost $421,000 to upgrade the Emergency Operations Center and equip Ashburn's new Training Facility which will be built next year

The new equipment will help officials monitor conditions and coordinate their response to protect Turner County.
