Tornado warning expires for Stewart County

STEWART COUNTY, GA - A tornado was on the ground in Stewart County, the National Weather Service has confirmed.  

As of 3:44 p.m. EST, Meteorologists are now tracking a possible tornado on the ground moving through Marion, Chattahoochee, Talbot, and Muscogee.  That tornado warning is in effect until 4 p.m. EST.

Seminole, Decatur and Miller Counties are under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning.

The National Weather Service out of Peachtree City has confirmed a tornado on the ground 7 miles North East of  Lake Park Resort State Park in Stewart County.
