ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Some families spent the day at Chehaw Park.
Workers set up lots of arts and crafts activities for kids to participate in.
They could make paper turkeys, and put together treats for the different animals.
Kids got to see some animals up close today including snakes, ducks, and ferrets.
"We want them to have an impact, we want them to have a say, we want them to be out here and see what's going on with the animals who want them to be here all times of the year. Were not just here in the summer for summer camp, were here all year around," says Chehaw Education Assistant Mallory Wilkins.
