ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Lots of folks were served up a hot meal at Sanctuary of Grace Church on North Monroe St. today.
Volunteers piled plates with fried chicken, green beans, and stuffing for people in need.
It's part of the holiday celebration. They also gave away clothes and shoes, including 50 coats.
This is the second year for the event where they served hundreds of people.
“We have served about 300 plus here today, and we are just excited that God continues to do great and wonderful things,” says Past Tepedric Hill, with Sanctuary of Grace Church.
She says all the items were donated and everything was free. They plan to make this an annual event.
