ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Harveys customers with new iPhones now have a new way to pay for groceries.
The supermarket chain is now part of Apple's Apple Pay system.
Customers can use their iPhone 6 or 6 Plus to pay for items at checkout.
Store managers described the new system as convenient, fast, and secure.
Harveys says they are one of the first grocery store chains in the southeast to accept the new payment system.
Bi-Lo and Winn Dixie stores also accept Apple Pay.
