MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - Moultrie and Colquitt County folks are making sure kids in need will have toys for Christmas.
The Children's Cheer and Toy Shop kicks off its annual toy drive at the Colquitt County Packers playoff game Friday night.
All schools in the county are also collecting toys for the drive.
Organizers are asking for new and used toys and monetary donations.
"It's just our passion. My colleagues and I, the school Social Workers for Colquitt County Schools, we work very hard and diligently all year long to make this happen for our children, our needy kids in Colquitt County," said Children's Cheer and Toy Shop Director Denise Pope.
They'll be collecting at Walmart Saturday from 11 to 5.
You can also make donations at Belk and at any school in Colquitt County.
