DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) - On Thursday November 20th, the Douglas Coffee Drug Unit arrested Amanda Cribbs for Possession of Methamphetamine.
The arrest followed an investigation initiated on October 16th in which Cribbs had been transported to Coffee Regional Medical Center, and later found to have methamphetamine taped to one of her legs.
The same day, Coffee 911 received complaints of a vehicle being driven carelessly on GA Highway 32 as it approached Nicholls from Bacon County.
Officers stopped the vehicle and discovered the driver, James Kirk Solomon, to be intoxicated, and they saw that he had several controlled substances in his possession.
Solomon was arrested for DUI, Driving with a Suspended Driver's License, Failure to Maintain Lane, and two counts of Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance.
