THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Thomasville law enforcement officers wore aprons and grilled all day Thursday to prepare for their 14th Annual Goodwill Project.
Officers will serve dinner until 7 p.m. at the Connection Church.
Folks can buy a plate of chicken, green beans, corn on the cob, and pound cake for $7.
All the money raised will goes toward helping children in need during this holiday season.
Major Wade Glover with the Thomasville Police Department said, “It builds comradery within our community and among our law enforcement community. The Sheriff's Office, the Police Department, the Drug Squad, and even the Fire Department. They come out. We all get together. We cook and have such a wonderful time for such a wonderful cause.”
They're expecting to serve over 1,500 plates and to raise over $10,000.
