ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Salvation Army could use a few more volunteer bell ringers for the holiday season in Albany.
The Red Kettle campaign kicks off Friday at the Mall and several other stores around town.
The organization says it's a great way for church groups or individuals to help others.
Donations will help provide shelter and meals for people in need.
"The more the merrier cause when we have volunteers we don't have to have paid staff and that means more money gets sent back into the community," said Major Kelly English, Salvation Army.
