VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Three Valdosta residents were behind bars Thursday night after being caught breaking into a home.

It happened at a home in the 2900 block of Callaway circle just after 1 a.m. Wednesday morning. 17 year-old James Jernette, 17 year-old Deontrey Crumpton, and 22 year-old Nathaniel Ware, Jr. were arrested after a citizen called police and reported suspicious activity around the home.

When police arrived they found the three inside the home. One was arrested on scene, but the other two ran. "[Officers] were able to set up a perimeter and then Lowndes County K-9 came in to assist," said Valdosta Police Department Lieutenant Aaron Kirk. "As he was trackin' the two suspects ran from the area and some other officers were able to apprehend him."

The suspects took a TV from the home, but dropped it when they ran out and it was found in the yard outside the home.
