ALBANY, GA (WALB) - More than 400 people laced up their shoes for the YMCA's "Chili Run."
There was a one mile, a 5K, and a 15K race. Runners say they enjoyed seeing people cheer them on along the sidelines. One runner says he's proud of his time.
"It was One hour and 28 minutes," said Chuck Darsey, 15K runner. "So my goal was one thirty. So I beat my goal, so I'm very proud."
Runners ended their run with a warm cup of Chili from Chili's Bar and Grill. Winners got bottles of Chili Peppers and hot sauce. The money will be used for YMCA Scholarships.
