Police are investigating multiple burglaries at the Thomasville High School.

It happened Thursday evening around 5 p.m., when the high school band was practicing outside.

Police said that's when someone entered the band room and stole three cell phones worth $1,500.

Major Eric Hampton said, "According to the band director and the assistant band director, the band room is usually locked up.  We are really unsure as to how someone got into the band room.  There was no sign of forced entry."

Police encourage all students to keep their valuables locked up and out of plain sight.
