Boil notice sent ahead of Philema Rd. construction

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany Water Department is set to shut off water lines on part of Philema Road for construction work on Monday, November 10th.

The water to the area is expected to be shut off at 9 a.m. Monday, affecting the area between 315 and 1006 Philema Road.

The area will be on a boil notice until the work is complete and the notice expires.

It will affect Crouse Village, Chehaw Park, and River Pointe.

The utility sent notices of the work to affected residents as well as one gallon of complimentary water, according to a release.
