VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Volunteers from Moody Air Force Base helped get donated coats and other clothing ready to hand out to the homeless on Saturday.
The Volunteers were in Valdosta Thursday sorting and organizing items that had been donated to the South Georgia Partnership To End Homelessness over the past two months.
"The community shows Moody Air Force Base a lot of love and they help us out with a lot of things. This is a little thing that we can do to give back to the community and show the community that we support them as well," said Staff Sergeant Justin Webb.
The items will be handed out at Olympic Park in Valdosta on Saturday, November 8th beginning at 9 a.m.
